Sexual Orientation
Lesbians and bisexual women will find the Women's Resource and Counseling Center (WRCC) a warm, comfortable, safe and inviting place in which to process the unique stresses they face, such as coming out to friends and family, gender identity, self acceptance, social issues, having and raising children, and dealing with discrimination. At the same time, we help to address all types of general issues encountered while attempting to meet the challenges of today's world such as dating and intimacy, building healthy relationships, and difficulties with depression, grief, loss, stress and anxiety. Gay and bisexual men are also welcome at the Women's Resource and Counseling Center, a division of the Miami Counseling & Resource Center, where clients of both genders and all ages are treated.
