Addictions Treatment
Addictions treatment at the Miami Counseling & Resource Center is accomplished on an out-patient basis using a holistic and scientifically-based approach. Our therapists and counselors are trained to support both a 12-step program and a harm-reduction strategy. We tailor our counseling support to meet the needs of the client and guide them into a lasting recovery. Issues of relapse prevention and cognitive and behavioral strategies are applied in a warm and caring environment. Learning the common triggers and pit-falls to relapse along with a self-guided approach to healthy living are covered. Nutritional guidance can supplement treatment with our in-house nutritionist and our psychiatrist can provide the needed medication management if needed. Individuals suffering from addictions to alcohol, drugs, gambling, or smoking are welcome to call and inquire about our program.
